Altar Society

An organization of women dedicated to serving the needs of the church,particularly in respect to caring for our liturgical vessels, vestments, and place. Catholic Men’s Fellowship

Culture of Life

The Culture of Life’s mission is to support and proclaim the gospel of life. The Culture of Life Ministry serves to pray for, protect and spread truth about God’s sacred gift of human life, from conception to natural death, through programs advocating prayer, education, pastoral care and advocacy. Guadalupanas

The Guadalupanas society is an organization of  Catholic women to provide leadership in social concerns and perform works of charity. The organization’s name derives from Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. The Guadalupanas society of Saint John visits the sick, meets to say the Rosary every Sunday.  In addition, they participate in the larger San Diego celebration of Via de las Rosas and another celebration in December that includes a procession, Mass, and banquet. Holy Name Society

An organization of men dedicated to serving the Parish, organizing social functions, providing coffee and doughnuts on Sundays, and caring for the needs of our facility.  Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month from September to May. Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the Parish and the wider church. It is a lay Catholic family fraternal service organization. Seniors

Saint John sponsors senior luncheon once a month   to May.  Seniors meet for the 11:00am mass followed by a lunch at 12:00pm.  The cost is $4.00 and entertainment is provided.   For more information please contact Nettie March at (760) 753-6254.
