Music ministry is an important part of the Liturgical life of the parish. At Saint John Parish, we have several ensembles that offer opportunities for music ministry for all ages.

If you are interested in singing at Saint John Church, please contact Casey McKinley at 760 753-6254 or music@saintjohnencintas.org. You may also meet with Casey in person after any weekend Mass. Our primary choirs serve the 9:00 am, 10:30 am,12:00 pm, and the 5:00 pm Masses. The rehearsal schedules are listed below. In addition, there are opportunities to sing and play at the Saturday Vigil Mass at 5:00pm and the 7:30am Mass on Sunday mornings. At these two Masses we have a number of people who rotate singing throughout the month.
 
We strive to balance our musical need with the schedule of the individual. This is true for all groups. We welcome the time and talent that you can afford.
 

Practice Schedule

*The 9:00 am Choir rehearses weekly on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm in the school music room.

*The 10:30 am Choir rehearses weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the school music room.

*The 5:00 pm Choir rehearses prior to Mass in the church beginning at 4:00 pm
